Kalinga Vysya Mahasangha has celebrated its first Global convention in Berhampur in very grand manner midst of festivity, love, and affection of its members. There were about 1500 people attended this conference from different parts of the world traveling exclusively for this convention where issues like eradication of poverty, illiteracy and imbalances in society thoroughly brainstormed and discussed. There was festivity all around since it was the first global convention. There were several streams of programs conducted which included Matrimonial, Political Awareness, Adopt-a-Student, Business, Job opportunities, there was a special Application for youth and children. The convention was a 1-day event. It is a social banquet at Berhampur where social recognition awards were announced. Kalinga Vysya Sangha which organizes Vasavi Jayanthi celebrations every year across all states in india has more than 10 thousand active members in the organization today.
